I have my own methodology for finding hipster places in cities and towns with Boomster and GenXster potential for My Love and I to experience and talk about here at The Weekend Boomster, and Coco’s Cocina Tex-Mex Restaurant didn’t exactly come up on the radar. We decided to check it out anyway, and boy, are we glad we did!
Once inside, we were greeted by our personable and just all-around great server, Torie, and she told us about the mocktails, which look and taste somewhat like cocktails, yet contain no alcohol. They tasted great, and were quite refreshing on a hot day!
The food was saboroso y deliciosa (flavorful and delicious)! We both had tacos: My Love had the shrimp, and I had the fish ones. They each came with a good portion of beans and rice. We tasted each other’s, and loved them. We had to take some of it home with us, as there were such ample portions. We definitely want to go back. I didn’t get to taste the street corn, which Torie told us was incredible.
You have got to check out this place…well, at least we really liked it! ;o)
We went to Endgrain Coffee Roasters after. We had visited them during our visit to Collingswood, New Jersey, but found out that they had since closed. More about their Pitman store and Pitman next week! :o)
