I was hoping when we visited Easton during our Lehigh Valley, PA trip that we’d run into “The Easton Assassin”, the former boxing heavyweight champion of the world, Larry Holmes, who I grew up watching. I had also heard that he is the unofficial mayor of Easton, and sometimes walks around, shakes hands and poses for pictures, and that there was a chance that we could possibly get to see him, but no such luck. Nevertheless, we did have a good time there!
We visited the Easton Public Market. Wow! It reminded this Philly boy and girl (me and My Love) of the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, howbeit on a smaller scale. We had some great food for lunch. I wanted a lobster roll, but it was at “market price”, and when I asked, they said it was over $20!), so I opted instead for a crab salad sandwich at a much more reasonable price. My Love had ramen from another vendor that she said was delicious.
We had a great time with great food. Hopefully, Champ, we’ll catch you next time!

I spent three years of my childhood in Easton on Freemansburg Ave. (1st Grade - 3rd Grade). Great place to be a kid!
I'M GLAD YOU AND YOUR LOVELY WIFE HAD A "TASTY" TIME IN EASTON!
EASTON PUBLIC MARKET REMINDS ME OF READING TERMINAL TOO... JUST NOT AS CONGESTED. ☺
